All American Racers began its legendary journey with Dan Gurney in 1965. The Eagle
racing cars quickly gained recognition and a loyal following among the leading US and UK drivers of that era.

Gurney himself had a successful 15-year racing career, winning seven Formula One races, seven Indy Car races and five NASCAR races. He was also twice placed in second
position in the Indianapolis 500. His claims to fame also include winning races in the Sports Car World Championship, the Can-Am, the Trans-Am, and the first Cannonball Run in the US in 1971.

Along with Gurney’s own success, Eagle racing cars are also linked to such hallowed
names as Bruce McLaren, Jochen Rindt, James Hunt, Bobby Unser and Al Unser, among
many others.
Dan Gurney's All American Racers is the only US company to have designed and
constructed a winning car for the Formula One Grand Prix and the Indianapolis 500.
